Our ship as we arrive from Beijing and prepare to leave for Shanghai.

Just a box I liked.

My Aunt Doris, my Mother, and my cabin mate Calvin Miles plan strategy for today's shore excursion. Whatever you decide is fine with me.

This is the group we travelled with having dinner in the ship formal dining room. Since there were 12 of us the ship set a special table for us.

This is another nice couple I met and spent a lot of time talking to. Ann and Leroy from Sacramento, California.

Nobody told me there was a party going on. (Sapphire Princess's main atrium)

This is the young man, Demitri I meet from Moscow,Russia. His English was better than my Russian.

Send in the clowns. (one example of the many works of art for sale in the ships art gallery)

I only wish that I could have been half the places in the world these two have been.

The back of the ship as we sail for Shanghai.

The two on the left are I nice couple I met who were from Edmonton, Alberta. Bob and Joan Mansell. When he found out I was from Chicago, he asked if I was a Chicago Blackhawk fan. I said definately not and that I was originally from St. Louis and therefore a Blues fan. It was then he told me that he grew up with and knew Phil and Tony Espisito. (two very famous Chicago Blackhawks who were brothers) Bob and I would see each other every morning in the ships health club. The other guy in the picture is named Bob also. He too is from Edmonton,Alberta and just happened to meet Bob and Joan on the cruise. They found out they only live 30 miles from each other. Hey guys, if you read this Merry Christmas. I'm sure its a lot colder there than it is here.

The lady in the middle of my Aunt (left) and my Mother (right), in talking with her they found out she was from St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands who just happened to know my late Uncle Vernon who lived there for some time. It's a small world after all.

This is the British couple I mentioned in a previous post about "Climbing the Great Wall. As you can see his wife is confined to a wheel chair but yet both of them together were able to climb up the first level of stairs. See her going back down was very inspirational. You had to see it to believe it. (see picture below)
When I was coming back down I passed these two who had just reached that tower at the top of the stairs and were turning around to come back down.

We had dinner at this hotel.

May I have this dance? (this is a park in Shanghai where people gather to, as you can see, dance)
