Singapore Sling Part 2

Raffels Hotel (this is a fomous hotel although I've never heard of it. It looks like its expensive and I hear the make a good "Singapore Sling")

After leaving the botanical garden,we went to another Buddhist temple. I decided to stay outside this time. I had seen enough Buddhas and temples for one trip although I would see more.
Singapore taxi.

After the temple we went to Faber Point on Mt. Faber which is the highest point overlooking the city.

Below are pictures of a slope stabilization system I took that was near our tour bus. The slope is too steep to add topsoil for future landscaping since rain would simply wash it away. So they are using this type of system to prevent that from happening.

Open holes are left so trees can be planted.

After leaving Faber Pt our bus took us back to the ship. At the ship, shuttle buses were available so I decided to take a ride back into the city to the duty free shop since our boat would not be leaving for quite a while.

Below are pictures of Singapore's 'Duty free Shop" ( All of the shops here sold high
end merchandise)

Outside the Duty Free Shop.

Construction of Singapore new underground mass transit system.(Above 6 pictures and video)

The worlds largest shipping port is getting bigger (above pictures show ongoing construction which will expand the area where shipping containers are stored)
View from our ship as it leaves Singapore.

Next and Last stop.Bangkok, Thailand
