Today is Sunday Nov 18 and we a finally back on solid ground in Bangkok, Thailand after almost two weeks at sea. The hotel we are in is called "The Shangri La" and the name fits perfectly. We will be here for a couple of days before flying back home. I look foward to a good nights sleep without rocking back and forth.
As before I'll start were I left off last time when we left Shanghai. In Shanghai one of the Buddah Temples we visited contained "The Jade Buddah" It's the most impressive Buddah iI have seen. It is carved out of large boulder sized piece of jade and it is light blue in color. It looks almost human. Like a light blue genie. Unfortunatley we were not allowed to take pictures.
