I Climbed the Great Wall

We just got back from visiting a portion of the Great Wall and were able to climb up a steep ( and I mean very steep and high) part of the wall. By the time I got to the third level, most people stop at the first, it was time to turn around and go back to the bus. My legs are still sore. But not half as sore as the people who had to build it. I can't begin to imagine all the human suffering it took to accomplish the building of that wall. After that we had lunch at another resturant that doubled as a pot factory and also sold souviners. After that we visited the "Summer Palace" and came back. This is the last night we will spend in Beijing. Tomorrow we leave for the ship.
